Walter A. Taylor maintains civil litigation, trial and business transactional practices. His trial practice emphasizes institutional and insurance defense (including professional liability), property damage, business disputes, real estate and construction disputes. His business/commercial transactional practice covers all aspects of general transactional matters, including formation, acquisition, employment relations, operations, and financing (development, real estate, construction, and acquisition). He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound (B.A., with honors, 1975). Mr. Taylor graduated from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (J.D., 1978) and was admitted to the California Bar in 1978. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Central, and Eastern Districts of California and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has served as an Arbitrator for the San Diego County Courts and is a Member of the San Diego County and American Bar Associations (Fidelity and Surety Committee, Insurance Section).  He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County.


 

Susan D. White maintains both a civil litigation trial practice and a business practice, emphasizing real estate broker professional liability defense, transactional consultation, and corporate consultation. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico (B.F.A., 1979), and pursued her teaching credential at San Diego State University. Ms. White is fortunate to have a California Lifetime Teaching Credential, and taught elementary and middle school students before going to law school. She is a graduate of California Western School of Law (J.D., 1993), where she received scholarships as well as an American Jurisprudence Award and an Academic Achievement Award. She clerked for the United States Attorney, Southern District of California while in law school.  Susan was admitted to the California Bar in 1994, and is a member of the Real Property section and the Litigation section.  She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California and is a Member of the San Diego County Bar Association and its Real Property section.  Susan has served as chair of the Realtor/Attorney committee of the San Diego County Bar Association, has published articles on issues related to real estate brokerage, and is a sought-after speaker on real property issues.
